Pricing for Carmela's Creations
The following is the current price list for my quilting services. All prices are subject to change. Contact me with any questions.
* The same pattern is quilted across the top of the quilt including the borders.
* $.025 per square inch
* Anything other than Edge-to-Edge Quilting. Contact me as I have limited openings for custom quilting.
* $40.00 per hour.
* All Art quilts are commissioned only. Contact me.
The following are the thread and needle fees (A new needle is used with every new quilt.):
Wallhanging/Crib size - approximately 36" x 44" - $5.00
Lap or Twin size - approximately 64" x 72" -$10.00
Full/Queen - approximately 92" x 106" - $15.00
King - apporximately 108" x 110"- $20.00
The sizes are approximate and are in inches.
* This may include (but not limited to): squaring the quilt,(including backing, batting); pressing the quilt, (including backing, batting); cutting backing or batting, fixing seams, removing extra threads, etc.
*$50.00 per hour (minimum of 1 hour)
If you do not have your own backing fabric, I can provide it.
* I use 108" backing fabric and I charge the amount that I paid for the fabric. Prices vary and can range from $14.00 per yard to $22.00 (or more) per yard.
If you do not have your own batting, I can provide it.
* I charge $14.00 per yard. I use Hobbs or Quilter's Dream 80/20 or cotton. I will use 80/20 unless you request cotton.
* Binding is completed by machine sewing the binding to the front and back. I do not hand stitch binding.
* You provide the material for the binding in 2 1/2 inch strips, cut, pieced, pressed in half and ready to apply to the quilt.
* I charge $.45 cents per inch to apply the binding to the quilt. Measure the length and width of the quilt. Add the width and length, multiply by 2 for the total inches, then multiply the total inches by $.45 cents. Example: a 50x60 quilt = 50 + 60 = 110, 110 x 2 = 220 total inches. 220 x .45 = $99.00 to bind the quilt
